Terra Madre 2008: Upcoming Events

Slow Food members, friends and the local food community:

Slow Food Northern Ohio is honored to be sending such a talented team of local farmers, producers, chefs and educators to Terra Madre 2008 this October in Turin, Italy. These representatives of our Northern Ohio food community along with 700 other U.S. delegates, will join over 6,000 delegates from around the world at Terra Madre to discuss small-scale, sustainable food production.

We need your help to make Terra Madre 2008 a reality for local delegates. Slow Food Italy generously provides accommodations and meals for the entire Terra Madre Network during their stay in Turin. However, our local Slow Food Convivium is responsible for helping out with our delegation's travel expenses. To accomplish this, we've organized the Terra Madre 2008 Raffle. Two lucky winners will get to experience Terra Madre and the Slow Food Salone del Gusto along with our delegates this October. This is an unbelievable opportunity!

If you've already purchased a raffle ticket, we thank you! If you haven't, please consider supporting our Terra Madre fundraising efforts by purchasing a raffle ticket today and attending one of the upcoming Terra Madre fundraising events detailed below.

We hope to see you soon!
