Slow Food For Thought...

"I keep saying, this isn't anything new we've dreamed up. We're dependent on each other and on the land and once you get connected, your eyes are opened to everything - to art, to music, to the world around you. That's the magic of it. You think it's only about food, but its not really about food. I hope people get that. It's what we're looking for - meaningful work, meaningful lives. We just have to find the door in." - Alice Waters

Terra Madre Forum, February 15

Slow Food members and friends are invited to participate in a Terra Madre Forum on Sunday, February 15th at Moxie in Beachwood.

We hope you'll join us to learn more about Slow Food and the biennial Terra Madre event which took place in Torino, Italy last October. Our 2008 Terra Madre delegates will be on hand to share their experiences and their plans for bringing a taste of Terra Madre home to Ohio!

Moxie's Chef Jonathan Bennett will prepare a hearty, winter lunch including three types of chili with all the fixin's. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. A cash bar will be available.
