THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED: PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR NEW DATE/TIME
Please join Slow Food Northern Ohio on Saturday, April 17 for a pastry tasting at Farkas Pastry Shoppe, a Cleveland institution for over 35 years.
Farkas pastries are hand-made, following the original recipes of Attila Farkas and his father Sandor Farkas who was a master pastry chef in Budapest. Farkas Pastry Shoppe is committed to maintaining the highest standards of "Old World" quality. Farkas uses only the freshest, all-natural ingredients and will never sell any product that doesn't meet their demanding standards. Authentic "Farkas Pastries" are unique and have been featured in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Sunday Magazine, on the Fox 8 Morning Show, Del's Folks and in Cleveland Ethnic Eats.
Farkas Pastry Shoppe will host Slow Food Northern Ohio members and friends for an afternoon pastry sampling and coffee. Attila Farkas and the bakery’s current owner, Ed Kroeger will be on hand to provide an exclusive behind the scenes peek at one of our favorite Cleveland bakeries. Details are below.
