Good, Clean, Fair Fish at Fire Food & Drink

We hope you'll join Chef Douglas Katz at Fire Food & Drink on July 9 for a very special celebration of sustainable seafood.

The future of fish is a hot topic and one of great importance to us all. Doug adopted sustainable seafood practices at his restaurant in 2007 and now serves as an "ambassador" for the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Sustainable Seafood Watch (he's the only chef in Ohio serving in such a position). Doug's ongoing commitment to sustainable seafood in addition to his tremendous support for local, sustainable food and farming, earned him a spot on our Terra Madre delegation way back in 2006.

On July 9, Doug will host a Sustainable Seafood Dinner celebrating the riches of the sea. Joining Doug will be Sheila Bowman, Senior Outreach Manager for the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch Program who will lead a conversation on the future of the world’s fish.

We hope you'll join us for a superb seasonal feast from the sea and the opportunity for some engaging conversation about good, clean, fair fish.
