Slow Food Northern Ohio: Summer Member Mixer

Be among the first to tour the Valley Ridge Farm at Case Western Reserve University at our summer member mixer.

Friday, July 19, 2013, 3pm to 7pm
Valley Ridge Farm, Hunting Valley

  • Learn about the food and farm program at Case Western Reserve University;
  • Sample honey and other farm products;
  • Bring a picnic and enjoy a beautiful evening on the farm.

The Valley Ridge (also known as the lower farm) has been a well kept secret except for dog walkers, bird watchers, and artists, for more than 20 years.  Now with the food and farm program and building restoration, Case is proud to show the public this beautiful farm nestled in the heart of Hunting Valley.

Don't miss this opportunity to mingle with fellow Slow Food members, find out what's new with Slow Food Northern Ohio, and learn more about our newest Slow Food on Campus chapter at CWRU.

Fresh produce from the farm will also be available for sale.

Lemonade and desserts provided.  Children welcome.

Please RSVP to: info@slowfoodnorthoh.org or call Kari at 216.225.6311.
(We'd like to know how much lemonade to make!)

Directions to the farm can be found here at the University Farm website.
