Happy Farmer's Market Week!

In case you didn't know, August 4-11 is National Farmers' Market Week. If you haven't done so already, why not get out this week and support your local market? And if you're already a seasoned locavore and farmers' market veteran, take this opportunity to introduce a friend to your favorite farmers' market.

To help locate a market near you, check out this handy farmers' market directory compiled by our friends over at Edible Cleveland.

And if this doesn't inspire you, just take a look at that beautiful photo above. You can almost taste those juicy peaches and sweet blackberries, can't you?

It's prime time at the markets with almost every fruit and vegetable we can imagine in season right now. Here's a little more inspiration from one of our favorite food writers, Mark Bittman and the New York Times Farmers' Market Recipe Generator!

Now, get out there and shop, chop, cook and enjoy!
